About Amy
Hello (or bonjour)! My name is Amy, I am a current university student and recently returned to England having spent the last year living and working in France.
I've always loved learning French which is what inspired me (and allowed me!) to teach English to students in France! I now hope to help students who wish to improve their French; whether that be to help with their GCSEs, simply for pleasure or to open themselves up to opportunities like I had!
I studied both GCSE and A-level French so I am familiar with the current specification and content that students are expected to know. Additionally, I studied French at an institution in France so now I hold a high level in the language (C1), making me capable of teaching beginners or intermediate speakers.
I am happy to speak with anyone who may benefit from lessons and discuss how best I may be able to offer lessons to meet your needs! I look forward to speaking to you!

I use an adaptive teaching method meaning I adapt each lesson to suit every individual's specific needs. This could include more content focused learning, interactive learning, approaches to exam technique or a focus on a specific area where a student wishes to improve, such as vocabulary and grammar, listening skills or speaking.
A typical lesson would last for 1 hour though lesson times can be fully flexible in line with a student's needs and requests. I am also happy to offer a shorter, demo lesson.
I generally offer lessons to GCSE students of any level and of any age during their secondary education (11-16 years old) as well as anyone wishing to pick up the language or improve their level.
Previously I have tutored students of the demographic above and also spent a year in France tutoring English to French students with the help of my TEFL qualification.
