About Emily
Hi, I'm a passionate and friendly Maths tutor currently studying A-level Maths, Law and Economics after achieving a Grade 9 for GCSE Maths. I enjoy helping students gain confidence and improve their understanding of Maths in a supportive environment. I want to tutor because I know how rewarding it feels when difficult topics finally make sense which I have seen with past and current students already, and I enjoy helping students reach their goals while making lessons engaging and less stressful.

I offer personalised Maths tutoring for Key Stage 3 and GCSE Students, with lessons tailored to each student's individual ability and learning style. My technique focuses on guiding students through questions step-by-step whilst encouraging them to also attempt questions themselves, helping them build confidence and fully understand topics rather than memorising methods. I adapt the pace and depth of lessons depending on the needs to ensure steady progress. Lessons are typically an hour long. I have 6 months of tutoring experience, a few sessions of experience teaching primary school students, achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths, and currently studying Maths A-level.
