About Jimara
Maths was never my strong suit in early secondary school but all it took was for one teacher to push me out of my comfort zone and suddenly, somehow I'm doing a Masters in Engineering!
Hopefully, I can help you realise that, with Maths, you get what you put in and with the right help (me!) you'll get the grades that you want. There is never just one way to learn a subject so, no matter how long it takes, we'll get you to where you want to be :)
I'm also currently a tutor on MyTutor so I have experience tutoring online!

I firmly believe that doing is better than simply soaking up info so expect lots of practice questions from me! However, every student is different so I will spend time understanding your learning style and tailor each lesson to that.
Lessons for GCSE and A Level maths (ages 14+) will typically be 40-60 minutes, depending on your preference because I'd rather have your complete focus for 40 minutes than half of it for an hour +.
I am currently studying for an Engineering Masters degree, graduated from Mechanical Engineering with First Class Honours, and achieved A's in GCSE and A Level maths- with 95%+ in two of my A Level papers. I have spent a lot of time casually tutoring family members in maths and was also a Physics tutor during my A Level years.
