About Lea
I am a senior in highschool with a 97% academic average who is very familiar with the Ontario curriculum. I am a peer tutor at school and have 2 years of experience in working with kids as a volunteer at a summer camp.

I am able to support students from grades k-10 in reading comprehension, writing, and grammar. In my lessons, I review material, break down subjects into simple concepts through the use of examples and analogies, and help students learn above their grade level. In addition to this, I share tips on how to take tests, how to study, and how to critically think through problems. I believe that thoroughly understanding a concept is far better than memorization and I take into consideration how a child learns best and structure my lessons and teaching method to best suit them. As a highschool student, I am able to understand how children think and create a fun learning environment so that learning can be enjoyable.
