About Mehdi

There is nothing that cannot be learned if you have the will to learn it. That is the magic you bring to learning. Come to me with your will and determination to learn, and I will employ all my 25-year-plus experience to take you through the shortest path to success.

About the lesson

I always try to guide learners to explore and learn new ideas by themselves, getting help from what the learner already knows, has experienced, or appreciates. This way, I help them build their own personal understanding of the matters. I believe in negotiation between the teacher and the learner and that learners need to have an active role in making decisions about their own learning. The length of the lessons varies based on the purpose, time available, and the learner's opinion. I have been teaching English for over 25 years at school and college to learners ranging from young learners to adult students and professionals. I used to be a Cambridge ESOL oral examiner back in the 2000s. At the moment, I accept students from high school and higher levels. I teach almost all kinds of English, including but not limited to school international syllabuses like Cambridge or Edexcel IGCSE; standardized English tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE; and ESL lessons for General/Business/Academic purposes.

Mehdi's response
Mohammad Sofian was a determined and enthusiastic learner who dedicated himself fully to learning when he was under the pressure of short time and the stage fright of having to perfom in front of a few thousand audience. But non of these stopped him from becoming the best he could be. He did great during the course and got what he wanted.

Out of all the years of studying and teaching, Mehdi has been the only teacher I've encountered that has the ability to teach to anyone, in an efficient and effective manner, ranging from teenagers to a grown-adult. His understanding and teaching abilities excel beyond the norms of the standards we have today. If you're looking for a tutor, teacher or even just a guide for the academic and/or general English, the first person I would recommend is no one other than Mehdi.
