About Lydia
My degree is in Psychology. I also have a PGDE in Teaching Learners with additional needs. I have taught English in Thailand, taught summer camps in China and taught English in Italy. I have a CELTA qualification also.

I believe that it is my responsibility as a teacher to provide learners with an environment conducive to learning and knowledge that will help them to be successful in achieving their life's goals. From my experience in the classroom, I have found each class and the dynamics to be different. Additionally, I use different materials e.g. songs, colours, pictures, books and videos (where possible) with younger learners e.g. aged 6-9. Furthermore, classroom management and repetition are important and I also found creative learning is beneficial. For adults, (one-to-one learners and small groups,) I found their preference to be conversation and listening exercises.
