What I teach:

- English for learners of all levels (Age 16+)

- IELTS Exam Preparation - IELTS lessons focus closely on writing, speaking, topic-related vocabulary, and general exam skills that will help you improve your grade. I have had excellent feedback from all students, many who have gone up one grade (Eg. 5.5-6.5) in just a few weeks.

- Conversational English - helping you to build confidence speaking and writing in English, whether it's for travel purposes or for everyday life. I can help you learn relevant expressions and expressive adjectives and idioms to sound natural!

- Business English - I specialise in teaching professionals. I have experience helping students (who work in fields such as Law, Medicine, Education, Health and Business Management) practice public speaking skills and prepare for important presentations, learn how to write professional emails, communicate and network in English successfully.

- CAE and FIRST exam preparation, focusing on high level grammar and vocabulary, as well as vital exam skills.

- Grammar - I can make complex areas of grammar approachable with practical and useful activities to help you use the correct grammar in both conversation and writing.

- Pronunciation - focusing closely on areas of pronunciation such as stress, intonation, tone and mastering difficult sounds, to sound more like native speaker.

- CV and Interview Support and Preparation

My lessons are:

- Guaranteed to help you improve your English skills
- Well prepared with original materials
- Tailored to your specific needs and goals.
- Varied, relaxing, enjoyable and organised with care and attention.

Why choose me?

- I am a full-time, professional, qualified English tutor with a great deal of experience and have successfully built a career tutoring online. Having taught students from Beginner to Upper Intermediate levels, in Universities, schools and private language centres both in the UK and abroad, I have learnt to be flexible in my approach to teaching, and can adapt my style to suit students with all kinds of different learning needs and backgrounds.

- I am always professional and very organised and am completely dedicated to helping each student achieve their own unique goals.

- I strongly believe in the importance of building a good relationship with each student, making sure you have an enjoyable and relaxing learning environment!

- I have had excellent feedback from all my past students (please see the link to my website and click on 'testimonials') and remain in touch and friendly with many students.

- I will improve your confidence in English by being supportive and encouraging, as well as giving you advice about how to continue your progress outside of the classroom and into the real world!

- I teach 'real life' English skills and language that you can use in your everyday life or work (not old coursebook worksheets!)

- I have a lot of experience teaching people of different backgrounds, cultures and nationalities (including all over Europe, Asia and Africa) and so I am aware of common areas of difficulty that many speakers may have, depending on their mother tongue.

- I am passionate about my work and I love what I do.

LESSONS INCLUDE:
