About Katharina
I have been teaching English and German for six years. When I worked at an extra coaching institute, I also taught primary school children. Moreover, I worked at a language school where I helped high school and first-year university students to prepare for their exams. I have a degree in English and business studies. I am currently studying North American studies as well as language and communication at the Philipps University in Marburg.

First, I try to find out what the person already knows and explain the content that we need for the subsequent exercises. When discussing the tasks, I try not to name the solutions immediately, but instead ask questions, for example. Then the pupils can link the rules with the task and remember them better. In this way, I also want to encourage them to think independently. In lessons with younger students, I sometimes use quizzes to convey the content in a playful way. For online tutoring, I use Skype and a program called Realtime Board, with which you can see and edit documents at the same time.
