About Ali

I'm Ali. I help engineering students understand math questions, physics assignments and project calculations. If you are unsure how to start, or cannot see where your working went wrong, bring your question and whatever you have tried.

My lessons connect calculus, linear algebra and differential equations with practical engineering problems. I also support thermodynamics, mechanics-based physics and introductory probability and statistics, matched to your course and current level.

I studied Aerospace Engineering at the Institute of Space Technology. My work with mathematical models and MATLAB/Simulink helps me explain how equations describe motion, energy and system behavior. In lessons, I guide you through the reasoning and give you time to practice it yourself.

Questions are welcome, including the foundational ones that can hold up a whole calculation. I teach online in English from Pakistan, supporting students across the United States.

Following a worked example but unsure how to start on your own? We break down what is given, what is being asked and why a method fits. You try the next step, with guidance as needed.

Who these lessons suit

Engineering undergraduates, students taking foundational or technical diploma courses, and adults rebuilding mathematical skills. Selected high school math and mechanics topics are also welcome, matched to your syllabus and questions.

Your free first 60-minute lesson

We choose one representative problem from your topic, identify the missing concept or method step and practice applying it. We finish with a short recap and a focused practice target. Larger assignments and projects may require several lessons.

Coursework, assignments, exams and projects

Bring your question, brief or unfinished attempt. We can interpret the task, choose equations, review your working and trace errors in calculations or mathematical models. You develop and understand your own work and remain responsible for assessed submissions. For exams and retakes, we practice relevant questions, method selection, clear written working and checking habits.

Algebra, trigonometry and calculus

Rearranging formulas, simultaneous equations, functions and graphs, indices, exponentials and logarithms. Build confidence with trigonometric relationships, differentiation and integration, rates of change, optimization and physical applications. We examine why a method works and how to check it.

Linear algebra and differential equations

Vectors, matrices, linear systems, eigenvalues and eigenvectors in introductory engineering applications. Support includes forming a mathematical model, initial conditions, selected first- and second-order ordinary differential equations, and Laplace-transform methods relevant to your course.

Applied physics and thermodynamics

Mechanics-based physics: motion, forces, free-body diagrams, work, energy, power and momentum. Engineering thermodynamics: systems and properties, heat and work, first-law energy balances, second-law and entropy reasoning, cycles and efficiency. We check units, signs, assumptions and the physical meaning of the result.

Probability and introductory statistics

Descriptive statistics, averages and spread, interpreting data and graphs, conditional probability, Bayes' rule, expectation and variance. Selected distribution and introductory regression questions are matched to your course material, with attention to what the calculation means.

Numerical methods and computational checks

Selected root-finding, numerical integration and approximate-solution methods, including error and convergence. Where useful, we use MATLAB or Python to plot a result or check a calculation while keeping the mathematical reasoning clear.

Related course support

These topics can fit Engineering Mathematics, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Numerical Analysis, Probability in Engineering, Applied Physics and Thermodynamics courses. Closely related topics are welcome: share one example or your course outline so I can confirm the fit.

How online practice works

We use shared working or screen sharing. I explain a manageable example, then guide your attempt and help you check it. Continuing lessons build on your practice, questions and the next topic you need to understand.

To get started

In your lesson request, tell me your topic or course and the step you cannot get past. Include any deadline. A short description is enough to start. I review the requested scope before accepting and confirm whether I can help.
