About Raj
I am an American with 25 years experience teaching English and Literature in many different formats. I teach online a number of different English courses - Australian high school syllabus and VCE Literature, Cambridge syllabus - IGCSE Checkpoint A Levels Literature, American syllabus/SAT, IELTS, Basic speaking and writing classes.

I teach junior high, high school, college, and university and can teach adults as well. My lessons are an hour to two hours based on student request. I have been teaching for 25 years which includes teaching high school and lecturing in a university. I now run my own online teaching business.
I use a student-centered approach that prioritizes speaking and active listening. My techniques are designed to get you talking, correct naturally, and make grammar stick through real-life context. I am heavy on activities. I make most of my own materials.
