I have been a teacher across various fields since 2013, most recently as a credentialed substitute teacher with LAUSD (K-12). Hi!
I am a lifelong learner myself, and have been an educator/teacher for over 5+ years now, in several fields. Those fields include K-12 general education at the 2nd largest school district in the U.S. (Los Angeles Unified School District), Math/Physics/Algebra via the modus of private tutoring, and acting/theater lessons both in a organizational and a private 1-on-1 setting. Fun fact: I am also a small business owner and a SAG-AFTRA working actor.
- I prefer to meet over Zoom or online to maximize our time; I develop a specific, unique lesson plan for each and every student.
- I usually structure sessions with an opening brain teaser, then a quick lecture, followed by hands on work and interacting Q&A; additionally, I can develop and track benchmarks and progress.
- Lessons are tailored to the level of the student; I most frequently work with middle school to collegiate level (undergraduate students).
