About Noah
Hi, I’m Noah! I’m an incoming student, studying mathematics & statistics at McMaster University, starting this fall. My passions and strengths lie in mathematics, economics, philosophy, and political science - all of which I enjoy to study in my free time and in school. After completing my undergraduate studies, I hope to pursue further education at the graduate level in mathematics and economics, and ultimately conduct research in those fields. I love to learn about the world that we live in, but most importantly, I love to share the information that I’ve learned with others.

Each of my lessons/sessions will be flexible, with a student-centered approach. My lessons are for students at the elementary and high school levels, with an emphasis on the latter. A typical lesson plan looks like the following:
1. Homework questions from the student are addressed & taken up
2. Lesson: An entire lesson or specific topic, based on the student's choice
3. Practice problems are assigned
The purpose of my lessons are to either 1. provide the student with a better understanding of specific material from a course that they are taking, or 2. help the student learn information from scratch, to get ahead in a field of study.
In terms of high school mathematics, I have extensive expertise in the following courses (which I have taken and succeeded in):
MCV4U - Gr 12 Calculus & Vectors
MHF4U - Gr 12 Advanced Functions
MCR3U - Gr 11 Functions
MPM2D - Gr 10 Principles of Mathematics
MTH1W - Gr 9 Mathematics
I can also tutor additional high school courses in various areas:
Physics, Chemistry, Biology (gr 9-11)
Economics (AP micro & macro, gr 11-12)
Additional math courses:
