About Nir
I'm a recent A Level graduate with an A* in both Further Math and Mathematics, all 8-9s at GCSE and I am currently studying mathematics at an Ivy League institution. I want to spread my knowledge and love for mathematics.
Having sat both the GCSE and GCE A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics Exams, I have a comprehensive understanding of the secondary school syllabus, as well as the most effective methods in teaching it.

I want you to help you discover how logical mathematics really is.
I will spend lessons breaking down key concepts, using graphs, diagrams and examples to teach you mathematical concepts. I support a Socratic style of teaching, encouraging students to probe and question, allowing me to base my explanations on the specific gaps in understanding you may have.
I believe it is important for the student to have a level of control over their learning, in terms of identifying areas of weakness in their syllabus that they would like me to support them with.
I am open to teaching secondary students from year 7 to year 11. I am happy to support students who want more comprehensive support, or short-term exam preparation. I also welcome groups of students - contact me for discounted rates!
