About Robert
I graduated with a degree in Architecture in 2016, however Mathematics has always been my strongest subject having gained grade A in A-levels (2009).
Though Mathematics is my main offering up to GCSE grade, a unique bonus with me is that I am also a Consultant in recruitment hence I can offer career advice for any individual. Valuable for those looking at options beyond school.
Outside of work, I have been mentoring A-Level students at a local community school to support their professional development and options beyond tertiary education. To this day I am still in contact with a graduate of the mentoring program who is now embarking on a degree in Computer Science at Queen Mary, Univerity of London.

My teaching style is very consultative and friendly. I instill a coaching and positive mindset to all, something I also do in my day to day as a Manager of my team.
In the beginning, I feel it's very important to know one another, particularly hobbies, interests and other non-academic matters before focusing on the core objective of the lesson. Building rapport is imperative and better results are often delivered this way!
I would set an agenda at the start of each lesson to manage expectations. Of course during the lesson challenges may occur hence my flexibility will be able to accommate your needs! I will always conclude each lesson by asking the student to recite some key takeaways.
