About Mia
I’ve got GCSE level qualifications, this might be taken as under qualified, however I think it makes me more relatable for the child and have a fresher knowledge of the maths that they will be studying. I also currently home school my brothers and did it throughout the last lockdown, so I have experience with teaching secondary school aged children. I’ve got college qualifications however they’re unrelated to academic subjects.

I’m looking to take the approach of an understanding and helpful tutor. I know from personal experience that to have a tutor that genuinely helps they need to be able to see what you’re seeing as well as the correct answers. I know that I need to be reassuring when they potentially fail on a question and guide them through it by helping them understand each individual step.
