About Dhiraj
I am a theoretical physicist, recently completed my PhD in Nuclear Physics from Florida International University. I am very enthusiastic when it comes to teaching. I have over ten years experience in teaching (Physics and Mathematics) in Nepal (my birth country) and the USA (in Miami).

I strongly believe that a Physics lecture should try and make a
connection between the theory and the everyday aspects. After the lecture, I want the students to
understand some fundamental aspects of physics and the concepts being discussed. I also expect
students to be able to link concepts and apply ideas instead of memorizing facts, use and
coordinate a variety of representations, and communicate ideas to others. I personally never had
the opportunity of being part of interactive learning system as a student, but strongly believe it to
be a superior method. One of the techniques that I prefer to use to make the class interactive is to
motivate students work together to solve a problem.
