About Shaan
My name is Shaan Kenny. I hold an Electrical and Electronics engineering degree from IIIT. I have completed my MBA and MS Finance from top graduate programs in the US. I have been working in tech field for over 2 decades. I have passed several difficult entrance and highly competitive exams like JEE, CAT and GMAT. My forte is in Math, Science, solving problems and critical thinking skills. I tutor K-12 elementary, middle and high school students in Math and Science. I tutor college students in Math, Finance, Economics and Marketing.
I now have Florida Teacher's certification as Math Teacher (elementary to high school). I have been tutoring students locally for several years. I can tutor in person/ online in Math, Science and ACT/SAT Test prep as well as Math Competitions (K-12).
I can do small group up to 5 students for lower rate. I will guide you how to excel in ACT/SAT test with test taking strategies which can maximize your scores. I follow whatever curriculum you have.
I have studied advanced math during my engineering, through my MBA and MS. I have been successful in passing extremely difficult entrance exams, like JEE for gaining admission to IIT. I can make you an expert in Algebra, Geometry, Calculus and Statistics. I can teach math and science to any level from elementary to College students. You don't need to work too hard because I will teach you how to work smart and show you the optimal approach to solving problems and getting higher scores in math and science. All my students have A grades in Math and Science.
I would love to understand the goals and the purpose for tutoring and which areas I can help you the most. Each student is different and I would customize the lessons accordingly. As a tutor I would love to build your knowledge, speed and above all confidence in tackling any kind of math or science problems. I am located in Coral Springs/Parkland area in South Florida. Each lesson is 50 mins customized to the student's requirements. I put every student through rigorous practice and provide strategy to boost their scores. Regular students (10 classes at least) are provided free IXL account. All lessons are conducted online.
