About Dylan
I am an Ontario Certified Teacher with a strong background in mathematics and physics education. I have taught a wide range of high school math and physics courses from grades 9-12.
Beyond the classroom, I have several years of tutoring experience at both the high school and post-secondary levels. My main focus is to guide students through challenging math and physics concepts by breaking problems down step-by-step and explaining them in intuitive ways. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and focused on building strong problem-solving skills.
When not teaching, I enjoy traveling, reading fiction, working out, playing video games and cooking for friends and family.

I try and provide as much real-world context when teaching math or physics to provide students with as much intuition as possible.
I prefer lessons where students let me know what questions/topics they would like to work on ahead of time so I can prepare and decide how to best approach the questions/topics.
