About Sarina
I am a marine researcher with 10+ years of tutoring experience teaching K-12, with subject level expertise in biology (AP) and environmental science (AP). I have been teaching for many years, but my full-time work is as an international ocean sustainability researcher, where I have worked in the U.S., Chile, South Africa, and across Europe on a variety of issues covering marine biology, and ocean management issues. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Grinnell College, and a Master's of Science from Stockholm University. I've received several scholarships and grants that fund my work including a Fulbright fellowship.

I aim to convey my passion for biology and the environment to my students through engaging and often visual methods to explain difficult concepts, and improve on testing skills. I also enjoy incorporating my own research experience in lessons if applicable. I charge $40 for all non-AP courses, and $60 for all AP courses.
