About Zhicheng
I obtained my PhD degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). I am passionate about teaching and would like to mentor students during my spare time.
During my PhD study, my research was focused on machine learning and natural language processing. I have been a research assistant for 5+ years working on software development intensive projects, in which I accumulated abundant experience of Python, Java, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, full-stack web development, etc.
I worked as the teaching assistant for the undergrad Algorithm course at school so I have abundant experience of mentoring students. Specifically, I adjust my teaching methods according to the respective knowledge levels of students and inspire them in a systematic and scientific way.
