About Jiapeng
I recently graduated from New York University with a degree in Economics and a minor in Mathematics. Through my education, I have developed strong skills in algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, econometrics, and both macroeconomics and microeconomics. As someone who recently completed college-level economics and mathematics courses, I understand the struggles and challenges students face when encountering new material.
I have experience helping classmates and friends who struggled with math and academic work in the past, and I am comfortable teaching subjects such as elementary math, Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, SAT Math, and introductory statistics or economics.

My goal is to help students truly understand concepts and build problem-solving skills rather than simply memorizing formulas or copying from PowerPoint slides. Before each class, I take time to review the student’s school materials, develop a structured lesson plan, and adapt my teaching approach based on each student’s individual needs and learning pace.
I am available for both online and in-person tutoring in the Johns Creek and Alpharetta area during the summer. I also offer a free introductory trial session so students and parents can determine whether my teaching style is a good fit.
