About Julia
Hello! I’m Julia, an experienced and enthusiastic English tutor with a strong background in supporting learners of all levels and language backgrounds. I’ve taught English as an Additional Language (EAL) in Florence, Italy, where I worked with students from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds, helping them build confidence and fluency in both spoken and written English. Before that, I worked at Kumon, where I supported younger learners in developing strong foundations in English and Maths. My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s needs — whether they’re just starting out or looking to refine their skills. I aim to create a welcoming learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing through consistent support. I'm passionate about helping each learner reach their potential and enjoy the process along the way.

Lessons offered to students of any age. Collaborative and organised: in our introductory lesson, I'll listen carefully to establish your long and short-term learning goals to best support you.
