I'm currently a first-year nursing student at the University of Alberta. I study Anatomy and Physiology every day, so I can teach it in a way that feels practical, simple, and approachable. I teach Anatomy & Physiology by breaking complex systems down into simple pieces. I don't believe in strictly memorization in A&P, rather, I believe that understanding why the body works the way it does is more important.
Instead of lecturing at a student, I walk through the concepts with them. I ask guiding questions, I check for understanding in real time, and I re-explain things until it fully clicks.
