About Chase
By my senior year as a undergrad, I had published work in an international journal and won multiple research competitions at a college level. This was while I was coaching soccer and tutoring to work through college so I know how difficult managing extracurricular passions can be. I now research nuclear fusion as a PhD student and travel internationally presenting my research. I tutor because I know how difficult in can be to learn, and I have a passion to teach.

My approach to tutoring stems from my very interdisciplinary field of study and background in coaching. There are many different ways to learn mathematics and even more applications. I focus on finding the most engaging way for each student to learn and first recognize that each student is different, both in needs and thought processes. My lessons would focus both on current needs of the student(homework, exams, etc.) and the knowledge gaps that exist in every student that could aid in their success.
