I believe that education should be holistic, and it is paramount to provide a safe and secure environment where young people can feel happy and valued. When working with young people it is important to share an enthusiasm, motivation and excitement to help them be successful in their endeavours. They need support to reach success criteria collaboratively so they can take ownership over their progress. Young people should acquire knowledge, skills and understanding commensurate with their individual needs which may change over time. Lesson length can be discussed - starting from an hour. I can tutor in Maths, English and Science.
