About Judy
I am a graduate of Penn State University with BAs in Journalism and Medical Anthropology. Later, I homeschooled my son. I had so much fun, I decided to teach others. Lately, I have taught online with VIPKID for the past 5.5 years. I specialize in English and writing. I have taught as young as 3 years and as old as a 55-year-old. If you are willing to learn, I am willing to teach you.
My grammar and social studies lessons include a brief review of material, as well as an introduction of new material. Then, the student will read to me, depending on their comfort with the material. Also, we discover the meanings of words and work on comprehension.
My writing lessons are much the same except that often, instead of reading, we will write from prompts.
My goal is to not be needed - for my student to be so proficient that they can teach me!
