About Lara
I am in my final year at university on track to receive an English degree in the summer. I have helped a number of international students improve their English during the term time language exchange programme, so I hope to use this experience to teach students online too.

I know every student's way of learning is different, so I aim to adapt each curriculum and lesson to what the student wishes to focus on (certain topics, speaking, writing or reading), so that we can target the areas they are struggling with.
In order to do this, I will first ask the student in dept questions about their reason for study, any goals they have etc. to gauge an idea of their level and to tailor make their curriculum.
Although I aim to challenge students, keeping the progress at a comfortable pace ensures they remain confident and in control of their study.
I will also create a stimulating environment by incorporating various activities such as role play, various media and fun activities for homework tasks.
