I have just completed a first class Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, continuing onto a Masters in September. Past experience with helping GCSE levels students in class. More recently, aiding an a level student with problem maths questions.

Usually, I like to encourage that if the child has problem areas that they struggle with in class, to bring the questions home where I will break it down for them and provide extra questions for practice. I find working through problems together to be one of the most useful methods of teaching. Otherwise, I have always found that practice strengthens knowledge so if they are confident with what they have learnt, I will provide extra questions of varying difficulties to test them.
