About Michael
Hi I’m Michael. I’m 19 years old and I’m taking a gap year before going to study Psychology at Durham University. I am new to online tutoring and, before the coronavirus, I was tutoring 6 students regularly face-to-face and I have casually tutored my sister throughout her GCSEs and A-levels. Through tutoring I would hope to offer a student's perspective on how to tackle exams and studying and I would strive to explain things simply and help students to realise the most effective studying for them. I provide breakdowns of topics and will strive to simplify as many things as possible. As I have recently finished A-levels I feel I have fresh knowledge of what exams are like and I have a great understanding of what the exam boards expect of students. Michael has a strong knowledge and understanding in Mathematics and is able to approach questions using a variety of methods.
I have taught Michael for 11 years and in that time he has learnt how to help other students, who are struggling to grasps key concepts. He is very patient and positive in his approach and tries hard to improve their confidence in their own ability.
