About Matthew
My classes are open to anyone who wants to learn Spanish. I have experience teaching all ages (from 4-74). I am happy to help students with exam preparation (GCSEs or A-levels). Please write to me if you have a keen interest in learning Spanish and sufficient time to study a new language.

I have 7 years' experience teaching English to Spanish students. Now I am helping several English students improve their Spanish. I moved to Spain when I was 23 and I literally only knew one word in Spanish 'hola' and now I can speak fluently, write emails and read novels in Spanish. With my methodology I'm sure reaching these objectives is possible for any dedicated student. I have the C1 title from the University of Barcelona. I also have first-hand experience with GCSEs and A-levels so I can help students to prepare for these exams. I live in Barcelona so I can only offer my classes online. This means I have daily contact with Spanish culture and I am completely immersed in the language. This helps me to be a better teacher as I can help you to connect to this wonderful language in a deeper sense. If you have a C1+ level and are looking to perfect your Spanish skills (MA level) I know a network of native teachers who can help you with this goal.
