About Alejandro
I am a 4th year Neuroscience bachelors student at The University of Edinburgh. I studied A-levels and IGCSE´s at school and can help with biology classes from any international examination board. I speak English and Spanish at a native level.

I like students to be interactive in my classes, therefore my teaching approach consists in holding entertaining discussions, where a question or hypothesis is central to the discussion, and the students have to develop an answer. I keep writing to a minimum, and favour making use of whats already known by the students and their imagination to problem solve. In this way, students find learning more engaging and find content more easy to remember. When it comes to learning new material, I have many ways of explaining concepts so that they are easy to imagine and therefore remember. I also encourage intellectual independence, and provide guidance on online sources and other resources that students may use to further their knowledge on those areas that they might be passionate about.
