About Iga
I am a Cognitive Neuroscience graduate, currently completing my Master’s in Neuroscience at the university of Sussex. Having gone through the many steps of education myself, I know how overwhelming it can be to undertake GCSEs and A-levels, particularly in science-related subjects. I believe students in schools don’t always get enough time or individual help to truly understand what they are being taught. Everybody needs a little help sometimes, and I believe that help is best when it comes from an enthusiastic, patient and student-centred teacher. This is the person I always try to be for the young people I tutor to help them achieve and exceed their potential and get grades they will be proud of!

In schools, students often don’t get to understand the basic concepts about a subject which makes them feel lost with further material. In my lessons, I place emphasis on genuine understanding of the topics at hand to ensure my students feel confident with being assessed. I suit my lessons to follow an order and pace which make sense for my students and regularly check their understanding and progress. I do my best to make my sessions easy to engage with and fun.
