About Alina
I am a recent PhD graduate, who has extensively studied genetics, anatomy, cancer biology, molecular biology, maths, statistics, chemistry and a little bit of physics. I am returning to tutoring after a 5-year break. However, my students in the past have had marked improvement after working with me, reflected in their grades.

My teaching method is more about talking and discussing a subject, understanding the theories and concepts. It depends on the student how they want to learn from me. I am capable of conversing with the student about a certain topic in general, discussing as an overview of how it fits into the real world (eg when discussing antibiotics and how they work, I like to discuss with the student how the chemistry and biology of antibiotics content we are learning fits into everyday). I have also worked with students who want to be taught their WACE curriculum methodically, minutely covering every detail they may be examined on.
