About Emma
Hi, my name is Emma and I hope to become your favourite tutor!
I love teaching and my lessons will always be conducted in an enjoyable, engaging and efficient manner.
I matriculated as an academic top ten student this past year and was the head of my school's peer-tutoring committee. Throughout high school I casually tutored my peers and younger students with success. Although I am not the most experienced, I will take great care and be most effective in assisting your learning as well as comprehension to allow you to feel confident and prepared for your classes and tests.

My goal is to tailor my teaching approach and lesson plans to meet each individual student's needs.
Typical lessons tend to be either a further study/explanation opportunity, for homework help or for test preparation. However, as each lesson changes with the needs of the student, this is not set in stone.
I am ideally suited to helping english-speaking students who are in grades 1 through 10 using the IEB/NSC curriculums.
I have found that discussing the desired outcome of each lesson beforehand is very helpful in motivating the student. This way we can work together to ensure your understanding of the topic is thorough, clear and made manageable.
