About Neill
Playing guitar is fun!
Always remember that as you study music; some parts of it will be challenging, but the hard work pays off before you know it.
A lot of people can get musical sounds out of a guitar, but do they know whole songs?
That is the key to my approach - learning whole songs, so that when people at parties or family gatherings ask you to play something, you'll be playing whole songs for them.

Beginners are welcome and encouraged!
You get to learn the basics of playing, like entry-level chords and recognisable melodies, and then how to play different styles of music (blues, jazz, rock, classical, funk, etc.); you may even choose to follow a particular style. You also bring in songs
that you like and we study those as well.
As we study the technique of playing, you also learn to read music notation.
As you develop, you learn to improvise over chords, and how to study the solos of the greatest players.
You can study electric or acoustic guitar.
Neill has been playing guitar for 40 years and now tours as a professional guitar player.
