Hi, I’m Anna! I’m a psychology tutor and a PhD researcher in Psychiatric Epidemiology, and I’m passionate about helping students feel confident and capable in their studies. Teaching Style: My tutoring approach is centred around clarity, confidence-building, and real understanding. I break down complex psychological concepts into simple, digestible steps and adapt every session to the student’s pace and learning style. I use a combination of visual explanations, real-world examples, active recall, and structured exam-style practice. My goal is always to create a supportive, calm learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas. Lesson Length: Lessons typically last 60 minutes, but I also offer 45-minute and 90-minute sessions depending on student needs, attention span, and exam timelines. Qualifications & Experience: I am currently completing a PhD in Psychiatric Epidemiology, giving me strong grounding in psychological theory, mental health research, and quantitative methods. I have experience supporting undergraduate and postgraduate students, teaching psychology-related content, and helping learners strengthen both conceptual understanding and academic skills (essay writing, critical analysis, research methods). I teach: - International Baccalaureate/GCSEs psychology students - Undergraduate & Masters psychology (or related subjects) students - Adults returning to education Whether you’re preparing for exams, improving coursework, or just wanting to understand psychology more deeply, my lessons are tailored to meet you at your level and help you grow.
