About Chris
I have spent years working with students and have a love of history. My undergraduate and master's degree are in history. My students always remember class can be fun, history can be interesting, and I care about their success in not just academics, but in their life.

I enjoy working with students in an environment where they can actually communicate with their teacher. I love to use discussion, lecture, video, and presentation tools to teach. My students enjoy a laidback environment where they can learn as well and still express themselves and discover history can be fun. I like to start lessons by just asking how my students are doing. From there I'll explain what we might be discussing and will go into the presentation, stopping frequently to ask questions of my students. Discussions always go much smoother if the student has read or previewed information on a given topic ahead of time.
