About Sofia
My name is Sofia and I am a 20 year old university student. I am wanting to help people achieve the best grades possible and reach their maximum potential. I understand the difficulties of being a student and how easy it is to struggle, especially with a subject such as English Literature, which is subjective. I am here to help using my own expertise and proven revision methods.

A lesson will be 1 hour. My teaching approach includes going through past papers together, analysing past mark schemes and helping students begin to understand what is needed, using my own recent positive A Level and GCSE experience. Further, discussing tactics for the best answers - analysis of themes and characters as well as essay writing and analysis skills and practising brainstorming under pressure together when approached by a difficult theme. For both A Level and GCSE student of English Literature hoping to achieve the best possible grades. Qualifications include 10 9s at GCSE, using an effective revision method and an A* (English lit) at A Level, as well as an A (Economics) and B (maths). Currently on track for a first at Newcastle University in Economics. Experience tutoring younger siblings and family friends successfully as well as assisting in Year 3 maths and English for volunteering at a high school.
