When I am tutoring, my main goal is to customize the lesson to the student.
I design my sessions to meet the educational needs of the students I am tutoring, as not all students learn math topics the same way.
In a typical session, I will determine the goal for the lesson, assess prior necessary knowledge, and customize practice and explanations to meet the student’s needs.
I have been tutoring middle school level through college level, both in person and virtually, for nearly 15 years and am confident I can use this experience to help students find success. :D
