About Eve
I am currently in my fourth year of studying medicine at the University of Cambridge, and have just graduated with a BA in natural sciences. This year I have more free time and would love to fill my extra time with something fulfilling, such as teaching. I hope to help my students find the same passion for science that I have.

My typical lesson structure will involve:
1) 48hrs (minimum) before the lesson, you let me know what work/topic you would like to go through
2) In the lesson, I will go through this topic with you, starting from the very basics (if needed), building our way up to more complicated aspects of it
3) I will work through some relevant example exam questions with you
4) you do a couple of questions independently, and I am there to offer guidance and feedback
any resources I make before/ during the class can be emailed to the student for future reference
I am also happy for students to bring in homework questions or other work for me to go through with them, as long as I am sent them in advance.
Depending on the lesson content and the student's needs, my lessons can be between 0.5- 2 hours. A 2-hour session will be split into two 1-hour sessions, with a 10 minute break in the middle.
My qualifications include a 9 in GCSE chemistry and an A* at A-level . I also have an A* in biology, maths and physics A-level, which comes in handy in physics too. I have tutored chemistry previously at GCSE level to multiple students. Additionally, I have experience teaching A-level chemistry to my peers in college, and so also feel comfortable tutoring at this level.
I have experience in childcare with children between the ages of 4-13, as I worked at a charity for children with learning and behavioural difficulties for 1.5 years. I am very happy to adjust my lesson structure and length according to a student's specific learning needs.

Eve tutored my youngest in Maths and really helped improve not only her grades, but her attitude towards to subject. She used to hate the subject and found her homework frustrating - now she cannot wait to hand in her homework that she's worked very hard on, with Eve's help! Eve is kind, encouraging and non-judgemental, and I'd recommend her for anyone looking for maths tuition (though I'm sure she's equally as splendid in any tuition she delivers) :)
I used Eve for my daughter's studies last year and she was brilliant. My daughter was very relaxed and happy to learn due to Eve's pleasant attitude and confident but encouraging manner. I hope to use her again in the new term .
