About Minh Long
Vigorous, customised and intimate. These are the three words I can describe myself as a tutor. I am a native Vietnamese and managed to score high in Vietnamese Literature during school (80%-90%) so I can teach a wide range of Vietnamese levels for all purposes depending on your needs.
What I have to warn you is that I am the person who is somehow Asian-oriented, which means the lessons from me are quite vigorous to ensure your commitment to studying. However, that kind of vigorousness will feel comfortable to you because the lessons are customised to encourage you to show your potential, not to wear you out. To achieve this, I will add a little element of intimacy like small talk, personal sharing to make you feel we are truly partners in study, not just a tutor and a student.

I want to involve students in the actual use of Vietnamese skills and convey the lesson by illustrating my own logic so they can know the roots of my own way of thinking. For instance, when teaching writing, I illustrate my own thinking pattern when I am writing without focusing so much on theory so that students can understand, combine and refine their own way of thinking. A typical session lasts for 2 hours. My main segment of students is for all who want to study or just discover more about this beautiful yet complex language.

Minh Long is an incredibly dedicated, passionate and knowledgeable teacher. Although young, he proves to be the best tutor I have ever met because of his profound knowledge in both Vietnamese and English. He has helped me - a fully amateur English learner - to achieve my goals within 2 months. During that time, my writing skill, which was considered to be extremely bad, shown apparent betterment and it, then, also became my skill getting highest score. Frankly speaking, If anyone has any intention of learning Vietnamese or IELTS, Minh Long will be your best choice of tutor.
