About Nicole
Hello there!
Nicole here. I'm a Dutch national living in the beautiful town of Clonakilty, Co. Cork. I'm a mom of two boys and love to visit the beach with my family and dog.
Originally a primary school teacher, I started my career teaching year 6 in the Netherlands. Since then, I've held positions teaching Dutch and English in secondary school, as a special educational needs coordinator I wrote and executed plans for those students who needed support tailored to their needs. During my time living in Canada i supported children and youth as a counsellor and an educator. I'm friendly, patient and able to help you or your child on their way.

With 15 years of experience as a teacher working in both primary and secondary schools, I offer fun, concise, and effective Dutch lessons for kids, youth, and adults of all levels. Whether you’re looking to improve on your reading or writing, your grammar or up your conversational skills- I will for sure be able to help you!
My approach:
Personalised learning: I believe in creating a customized learning experience for each student.
Flexible lesson lengths: Lessons typically last 60 minutes, but can be adjusted to 30 minutes for younger students or longer based on your preferences and learning pace.
Specialised support: As a Bachelors of Ed in Education Theory with a focus on special educational needs, I have extensive experience working with dyslexic students (and other educational needs) and can provide tailored support.
