About Katia
I am a native Spanish speaker born and raised in Galicia (Northwest area of Spain). I moved to Leeds to attend university and I have just recently gotten my BA in English Literature and Japanese. I love both learning and teaching languages!
As a non-native English speaker attending university in the UK, I know how challenging language-learning can be, so I like to cater to my students' needs and preferences. Do you need to learn specific vocabulary or expressions for a job? Do you enjoy learning about Spanish culture or literature, as well as the language? Do you want to practice your spoken Spanish and improve your oral skills? Do you need to pass an important exam? The lessons can be as personalised as you need them to be.
I have two years of experience tutoring fellow university students (intermediate-advanced level) but I am open to teaching beginners as well. I am here to help you learn at your own pace, and to make it as enjoyable as possible without compromising great results.

I teach Spanish to whoever wants to learn! If you have always wanted to learn but never found the time, I offer flexible, personalised lessons in the Leeds area. The lessons will cater to your needs, but I often emphasise oral comprehension and expression. The typical length of a lesson would be 60 minutes.
I am a native Spanish speaker and I have lived in the UK for five years. As a non-native English speaker, I know how challenging language-learning can be. I have two years of experience tutoring fellow university students (intermediate-advanced level) but I am open to teaching beginners as well.
