About Raquel
I am an engineer and scientist, born in Venezuela, native spanish speaker and fluent english speaker. I have taught science subjects at tertiary institutions for many years, including at the ANU. I currently work in industry and also have an academic adjunct position at the University of Southern Queensland.

Perfect! Raquel is extremely responsive and an excellent communicator. She took the time to understand the coursework that my son was undertaking and then worked with him collaboratively on a plan to achieve his goals. I would highly recommend Raquel to anyone looking to learn Spanish.

Perfect! I just had my first lesson with Raquel last Thursday. From the minute I met her I knew we would get along well. She is super nice and easy to talk to. She explained everything she was teaching clearly and easy to understand. I left there completely understanding everything she had shown me throughout the lesson.
