About Pep
I am a dancer offering Spanish lessons to non-native speakers in order to help them improve their skills. I am an English Studies (BA) graduate (University of Barcelona) and I have experience teaching foreign languages to students (Catalan, Spanish and English).

I like to create an individual methodology for every student, each one is different and require different needs. For this reason, I like to do an induction lesson to talk about what the student wants to work on and which is his/her level. From that point we can focus more on perfecting the oral expression (speaking) by making an emphasis at vocabulary and grammar that are not used in a formal/academic environment, which is normally taught in schools and it is not very well received by Spanish Native speakers. We can also focus on written expression and comprehension by looking at different examples of pieces of writing (news, interviews, fiction writing...). Apart from the secondary focus I have to emphasise that the main focus on the lesson will be oral comprehension due to the fact that I will try to speak in Spanish most of the time in order to get the student used to hear the tone and rhythm of the language.
