About Mia

Im Mia Reyes. I was born in Puerto Rico and have spoken Spanish all my life, I learned English when I moved to Florida in 2018. I have a lot of experience teaching English to ESL (English second language) students. I have decided to teach Spanish to non speakers.

I'm a very social person and love to help. I will push you but just exactly what you need. I'm extremely patient and creative in my lessons you will never feel pressured or bored.

About the lesson

In my lessons I like to talk about current world problems. I like to practice by taking about topics that students findsinteresting. Im also a good listener and greatly appreciate comments or ideas on the lessons and what the students likes or dislikes.

My lessons vary from Beginner to Expert. I like to focus on conversational Spanish where lessons include talking about different interesting topics, and reading to improve pronunciation.

Lesson plans would vary based on students preference and what works best for each individual.

Mia has helped me since 9th grade with my English. We met because I was new to the country and I didn't know English. Mia helped me with schoolwork and explained it to them until I got it. She is very patient and nice.
