About Francisco
Hello, I’m Francisco, a native Spanish speaker born and raised in Madrid, now living in Nottingham. Spanish is my mother tongue, so I can offer you authentic pronunciation, natural expressions and a real understanding of the culture behind the language.
I have experience teaching Spanish to several students, and I take my lessons seriously: I prepare each session in advance, set clear goals with you and track your progress along the way.
I’m patient, punctual and reliable, and I’ll make sure you feel comfortable making mistakes, because that’s how we learn. If you’d like to see whether we’re a good fit, we can start with a first lesson and plan everything around your needs.

My approach
I believe the best way to learn Spanish is by speaking it. Lessons are mostly conversation-based, with grammar explained simply when you need it. I use real-life situations, short dialogues and everyday vocabulary, so you can use what you learn straight away. I also correct pronunciation gently and adapt the pace to you.
Lesson length
Typically 60 minutes. Shorter or longer sessions are possible if you prefer.

He is an amazing teacher, I had a really good experience and helped me very well throughout my exams!!
I needed to achieve a B2 level in Spanish for an internship, and Francisco made it possible. He is a brilliant teacher!
I’d really recommend this teacher to whoever asks. He is not only from Spain so he’s going to help you so much with the accent and grammar, but he is also patient and very easy to talk to. Great person and better teacher!
