Hi, I’m Maria! I’m a native Spanish speaker from Colombia, with fluency in English, and passionate about helping students gain confidence and mastery in Spanish at any level. I moved to Australia in 2022 and dedicated myself to learning English, so I truly understand how challenging it can be to learn a new language — and I use that experience to guide and encourage my students every step of the way.
My lessons are communicative, interactive, and tailored to your goals. I combine conversation practice, grammar exercises, and real-life examples to make learning practical and enjoyable. Techniques like role-playing, storytelling, and task-based activities help you apply Spanish naturally in everyday situations.
Lessons typically last 45 - 60 minutes, but we can adjust the length depending on your needs. I’ve tutored students of all ages and levels, from young learners to adults, and I make sure every session is engaging, clear, and motivating.
With my guidance, you’ll improve your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, while gaining the confidence to use Spanish in real-life situations.
