About Claire
Hello! I'm Claire, I am a British/Venezuelan graduate with a passion for languages and a strong academic background in Politics and Economics. Both native English and Spanish speaker, I love to share the beauty of the Spanish and Latin American language and culture!
Having lived both in Spain and Latin America, I focus my lessons on both cultures and provide a deep run through of the different customs and accents. My teaching approach is centered around creating a comfortable and supportive environment where students feel empowered to learn and grow, with lessons tailored to each student's individual needs and goals.
I absolutely love studying languages and can speak English, Spanish, Italian and French. I'm all too familiar with how tough it can be to learn a new language so I'm here to help students break through the barriers and also have fun while doing so!

My Spanish tutoring focuses on individualized instruction, adapting teaching methods to students' specific goals. Using interactive techniques and authentic materials, I create a dynamic and relevant learning environment. Lessons typically last one hour, and I have extensive experience teaching students of diverse levels and ages.
My approach to tutoring Spanish is centered around tailoring my techniques and teaching methodology to the individual needs and goals of my students. I believe in creating a positive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable to participate and make mistakes, a really important part to learning!
I focus on active communication and student engagement through practical exercises, role-playing, debates, and interactive activities. I also bring in Spanish cultural materials, such as articles, videos, and songs, to really dig deep into Hispanic culture.
Typically, my lessons have a duration of one hour. However, I can adjust the length based on the student's needs and preferences.
My lessons cater to students of different levels and ages. I have experience teaching beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students. I will adapt my approach and materials according to the specific needs of the student, whether they are learning Spanish for professional, academic, or personal purposes.
