About Quinn
I currently work as a substitute teacher at 3 schools. Previously, I worked as a Kindergarten teacher before ultimately deciding that, though I love working with kids, I did not want to pursue a career as a classroom teacher. I am most experienced working with students grades K-5, but am comfortable working with older, as well! Math was the subject I struggled most with growing up, and yet funny enough, it has become my favorite subject to teach! I have extensive experience working with kids with different learning disabilities/differences (ADHD, autism, dyslexia) in both classroom and one-on-one settings.

I love getting to figure out how each kid's brain works and how to best reach them to keep them actively engaged. I take a very personalized approach in how to best approach & break down different lessons so that they are digestible and clear - even fun! - without feeling overwhelming. My main goal is for kids to realize that learning can be both fun and productive at the same time - I want to make tutoring sessions an after-school activity that doesn't have to be met with reluctance or dread.
